Different cuisine

The hosts respect the rich tradition and prepare old dishes in a modern way. The most famous regional dishes are different types of struklji (rolled dumplings), matevž (puréed beans with cracklings), žganci, sauerkraut and sour turnip, piglet and lamb, pork sausage, blood pudding, Kostel stuffed pig stomach, čušpajz, trojka and belokranjska pogača (White Carniola loaf), which is a protected traditional Slovene dish.
