Cviček is a red wine, which is the only wine, apart from the Italian Chianti, with an alcohol level of 8.5 to 10%. It is a dry wine made from different grape varieties: Žametna črnina (70%), Blue Franconian (10%) and white grape varieties (20%), mostly Kraljevina (Grau Portugiser). The red and white grape varieties are merged in the correct ratio into a wonderful harmony, giving the wine a light reddish colour with a ruby hue. The wine is very light and drinkable, making it perfect for any type of dish. It is a Lower Carniolan speciality and is an original Slovene wine.
