A Month of Genuine Local Tastes<\/em><\/h2>\n\n

V novembru bo Novo mesto za\u017eivelo v znamenju kulinarike, tradicije in pristnih dolenjskih okusov. Okusi Novo mesto \u2013 kulinari\u010dni november<\/strong> bo povezal lokalne pridelovalce, gostince in ljubitelje dobre hrane skozi pester niz dogodkov \u2013 od tradicionalnega pohoda po obronkih Tr\u0161ke gore<\/strong> in \u017eivahnih martinovanj<\/strong> do kuharskih delavnic<\/strong>, vinsko-kulinari\u010dnih ve\u010derov<\/strong> ter predavanj o \u010debelarstvu in zeli\u0161\u010dih<\/strong>. Program bo zaokro\u017eila 1. konferenca \u0161trukljev<\/strong>, posve\u010dena razvoju gastronomskega turizma in dedi\u0161\u010dini Dolenjske. November v Novem mestu bo tako \u010das dru\u017eenja, oku\u0161anja in praznovanja kulinari\u010dne ustvarjalnosti regije. <\/p>\n\n

Hike along the slopes of Tr\u0161ka Gora<\/h3>\n\n

Date: <\/strong>Saturday, 8 November 2025, at 8:30 am Location: <\/strong>Grm Novo mesto, Sevno 13, Novo mestoOrganizer: <\/strong>Tr\u0161ka Gora \u2013 Novo mesto Winegrowers\u2019 Association<\/p>\n\n

The hike along the slopes of Tr\u0161ka Gora is a popular traditional event. Along the way, participants enjoy warm drinks, homemade delicacies, and wine tastings, offering a chance to experience local cuisine and winemaking traditions. The hike concludes with the ceremonial christening of the young wine, symbolizing the start of the new wine season. <\/p>\n\n

Tasting of traditional St. Martin\u2019s Day dishes and drinks: goose and duck, roast chicken, sausages, mlinci (baked flatbread pasta), Dolenjska \u0161truklji (rolled dumplings), sauerkraut with cracklings, red cabbage with apples, crackling and tarragon potica (Slovenian nut roll), and cvi\u010dek wine.<\/p>\n\n

A culinary evening with a musical welcome by Ga\u0161per Kav\u0161ek and “Koline” tradition*, featuring a tasting of homemade cured meats and bread. The programme includes a cooking workshop on preparing sausages and pork liver, followed by a four-course dinner with a welcome drink.*Koline is traditional time for slaughtering surplus livestock for winter provisions. <\/p>\n\n
