In the vicinity of partisan hospitals, graves were arranged in sinkholes where the deceased wounded were buried. The burial followed a strict procedure determined by the administration of the Slovenian Central Partisan Military Hospital. At least one comrade from the hospital leadership had to be present. After the war, in the 1950s, the victims were exhumed and reburied in their home cemeteries. Today, in Ko\u010devski Rog, only symbolically arranged grave sites remain. <\/p>\n

Wooden Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n In the hospital Lesen kamen, from March 1943 onwards, lighter injuries were treated, and later also patients with infectious diseases. There are no material remains of the hospital at the site\u2014only a symbolic cemetery stands nearby. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Vinica<\/strong><\/p>\n The Vinica hospital was initially intended only for seriously wounded partisans, later also for patients with infectious diseases. The location is marked by earthworks and a memorial at the nearby symbolic cemetery. <\/p>\n Pugled<\/strong><\/p>\n The Pugled hospital operated until the end of October 1943, when it was discovered during an offensive by German soldiers. They killed 21 seriously wounded and burned the hospital down. Stari Log The Stari Log hospital was built in 1943 for severely wounded transferred from the Jelenbreg hospital. It operated until the end of the war. Thirty-one wounded died there and were buried in a nearby sinkhole.<\/p>\n
