In its upper course, in a shorter but wild canyon with almost vertical banks, it creates smaller loud and murmuring waterfalls and cascades. The Radulja Gorge begins near Klevev\u0161ka Toplica, rising about 100 meters upwards. Here, Radulja has deeply cut into the band of Triassic limestone, overcoming the steepness with numerous small waterfalls, which are frozen in severe winters but very loud in spring and autumn.
