It covers the foundations of a medieval chapel, around which a story unfolds about the former importance of the medieval town of Gutenwerth by the Krka River. Between the 13th and 15th centuries, Gutenwerth was one of the administrative centers of the Freising estate in the Dolenjska region.     <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Medieval Mint of Gutenwert <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Minting one&#8217;s own money has, in all historical periods and across all regions, always been a material reflection of the political independence of the peoples who issued the currency.
