Cottage cheese štruklji with cream

  • 0.2 kg of flour
  • 0.02 l of olive oil
  • 0.12 l of lukewarm water


  • 0.1 kg of crushed curd
  • 0.2 kg of overheated cream
  • 1 egg
  • 0.05 kg of sugar
  • 0.1 kg of butter
  • 0.05 kg of crumbs


Prepare a drawn dough from the ingredients, coat it with oil and cover so that it does not dry out. Let it rest at room temperature for 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator. Add superheated cream, sugar and egg yolk to the mashed cottage cheese. Mix well. Add the whipped cream and mix lightly with the curd. Roll out the rolled dough, coat with cottage cheese and wrap in štrukelj.

Wrap the štrukelj in a cloth and cook in a large amount of water for 30 minutes. We can prepare sweet or salty štruklji and add various herbs to them. They can be baked or cooked.
