Homestead of Matjaž

A warm welcome, followed by a tour of a 150-year-old homestead, part of the European “Houses with Tradition” network, where you’ll learn about the lives of our ancestors. In the cellar, the host will greet you with a special cviček toast. A 20-minute multimedia presentation, The Story of Cviček, follows. In seven chapters, you’ll discover the history of wine, wine patrons, traditional vessels, the composition and production of cviček. Afterwards, enjoy a tasting of its components and the king of cviček itself, accompanied by buckwheat bread. Additional options: a walk or drive to the Grčevje wine-growing area, visit to the Church of St. George (with a Baroque music concert), a stop at one of the vineyard cottages, a teambuilding program Lost in the Vineyards, or a motivational workshop on various topics…
