Kozlevčar Wine Cellar

In the cellar, wines mature that rank among the world’s best and receive top ratings and medals in the Dolenjska region. These include: Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon, Rieslings, Kraljevina, Cviček, Pinot Noir, Blaufränkisch, and a wine specialty — Blaufränkisch Barrique aged in French oak barrels.

Franc Kozlevčar is especially proud of his Barrique Blaufränkisch, vintage 2004, with which he won  second place in 2008, right behind France.  In 2009,  at the world’s largest international wine competition among 60 countries, his Barrique Blaufränkisch, vintage 2006, became the world champion.
