TIC Novo mesto

The Novo Mesto Tourist Information Centre (TIC) is located in the heart of the old town centre, on the Main Square, where friendly tourist information staff provide helpful advice and details about the most interesting sights, accommodation, restaurants, events, cultural attractions, sports activities, and other great ways to spend your free time.

Tourist brochures and publications in multiple languages are available, together with cycling and hiking maps covering Novo Mesto, the wider Dolenjska region, and the whole of Slovenia. The TIC also organise guided tours of Novo Mesto and its surroundings with professional tourist guides, available in Slovenian or other languages.

In addition, you can register for the GoNM self-service bike-sharing system, purchase fishing permits, buy tickets for shows at the Janez Trdina Cultural Centre, and get tickets for the Observation Deck Kapitelj.

TIC includes a boutique shop with a rich selection of tourist souvenirs, local culinary specialities and wines, as well as handmade crafts, making it easy for everyone to find the perfect souvenir or gift from Novo Mesto for themselves or their loved ones.
