Visit the authentic Šeruga farm in Dolenjska, featuring a traditional wood-fired oven and a watermill. They will also take you to nearby vineyard cottages. An authentic vineyard-style snack will be served at the Verček cottage, where you can visit the so-called “Pušelj Bar.” Discover local heritage and visit the Land of Hayracks, the world’s first open-air hayrack museum.  

Take a trip to Otočec, where you can enjoy fun adventures in the adventure park or relax in the saunas and pools of Hotel Šport. You can also visit the Castle Vegetable Garden.  

Enjoy a traditional lunch or dinner at Gostišče Vovko  (Gostilna Slovenia,  Gault & Millau,  Michelin Plate) . Or visit Hiša Fink (Gault & Millau, Michelin Plate).

Become the master of a countryside homestead. 

The program includes an overnight stay at the Vesel Homestead for 4 people, with a tasting of local delicacies and wine. Guests take part in seasonal farm chores and get to know the farm animals. For added fun, we organize role-playing games and prepare a traditional seasonal dish that delights every visitor. The charm of staying at the homestead lies in the connection with nature, relaxation, and strengthening of relationships.

You can also choose to prepare a shared breakfast for €8.00 per person  per day.

Embark on a hike from Otočec Castle to Trška Gora.

You will hike up to Trška Gora from Otočec Castle along the Krka River and through the vineyards, while an animation program introduces you to life along the river, past and present. You’ll also learn all about the world-renowned musician Lojze Slak, who owned a vineyard cottage right  on Trška Gora. There , a hearty vineyard-style snack will be served. The experience also includes a tasting of Dolenjska wines.
