Jurjeva Homestead

Since the year 2000, Jujreva Homestead  has been recognized as a cultural and ethnological monument of local importance. It is one of the most fascinating cultural landmarks in the Municipality of Trebnje, dating back to the mid-18th century. The homestead features a ground-floor residential house, partly built of stone and partly of wood, including a traditional black kitchen, living area, bedroom, and “štibelc” – all with well-preserved interior furnishings. Also preserved are the pigsty, granary, well, and cellar. The homestead serves as an open-air museum.
