Moletova hiša (Moletova House)

The Moletova House, located in the center of Šmarjeta beside the “Cviček Wine Fountain,” has been beautifully renovated and now hosts new experiences and fresh tourist services.

Tourist Information

The Molet House is home to the Tourist Information Center (TIC) of Šmarješke Toplice, where visitors can find guidance and information about the destination, as well as a boutique shop offering local products and souvenirs. Here, guests can purchase keepsakes decorated with Karlovšek’s ornament (Jože Karlovšek, a renowned native of Šmarjeta, was known for drawing and collecting the Slovenian ornament) – from ceramic mugs, coffee pots, magnets, and bottle openers to ceramic pencils, fans, and more.

Visitors can also enjoy products from local producers and associations – from savory and sweet snacks prepared by rural women, to apple chips from a nearby farm, and specialties such as organic cviček with honey and cviček pralines.
