The educational trail of the clay pits Zalog

The aquatic biotopes in Zalog were formed from clay pits that, due to their conservation significance, were left to natural succession. The area allows for the observation of over 100 bird species from ground-level or elevated observation points and is home to rare and endangered plants and animals listed under Natura 2000. Visitors can explore the site along a 700-meter walking trail with observation decks, educational ponds for nature study, and resting areas.  

Entry is free for all visitors, and guided tours are available upon prior notice (at least 10 days in advance).
