In the hidden valley under Gorjanci for centuries there is the Carthusian monastery and is today the only living monastery in the Slavic world. Carthusians are living in solitary community where monks in solitude and silence dedicated following of Christ. Therefore, the greater part of the monastery is in seclusion - inaccessible to the public. An old gothic church from 1406, which is on display multivision about the life of monks and cultural attractions Monastery, is opened for visitors.
