Ecological Farm Kukenberger

The organic farm Kukenberger from Gorenje Ponikve near Trebnje is one of the few in Slovenia that boasts two certifications: all dairy products are certified organic, and they also have the ”Hay Milk” certificate. All animals on the farm graze throughout the season, and in winter, they are kept in a well-ventilated and comfortable barn, ensuring great comfort for them.

The milk from the traditional brown breed is processed into various dairy products: semi-hard cheeses, fresh cheeses, grilling cheese, several types of cottage cheese, yogurts, cream, and butter. At the Kukenberger Organic Farm, the experiences and ideas of four generations living there come together.
